You have heard about the beauty of Croatian national parks, exceptional sea and picturesque towns, and you want to experience it all, but in a slightly different way? You are in the right place! Take a couple of minutes and have a look at what we have prepared for you. Yes, exactly for you that are reading this. You will not be disappointed.
You have seen everything that tourist agencies have to offer and everything is always the same: accommodation, breakfast, and sightseeing. It had happened to us (too many times) so we decided to create something completely different.
We will not be your touristic guides, but touristic “chasers”. If you thought about sleeping until noon, you will change your mind when you see what is awaiting for you in two weeks, which is exactly how long our adventure programme lasts.
After a night spent in untouched woods of Medvednica, we start the morning with mountain biking. Sljeme is the highest peak of this mountain, the slopes of which we will climb. After you have been properly worn out, we start our drive to the nature park Lonjskopolje, which we will see on a raft.
We will spend the morning in the eco village Strug riding horses and then we depart for Rastoke. There the flow of the river Slunjčica creates numerous small lakes, streams and waterfalls, you will not be able to take your eyes off of this landscape. In the evening, we are in the Plitvice Lakes National Park that you have certainly already heard of so there is nothing more to say, besides, maybe, that you can walk around the park the whole day and you still will not be able to see everything. That’s way we are spending the night there, listening to the sound of powerful waterfalls.
The next stop is eco-camp Rizvan City in the heart of Lika. Adrenaline park, giant swing, quad safari, jeep safari – is there anything else to say? National Park Paklenica is our next destination and here we again have fun: you will not avoid neither mountain biking nor free climbing.
On the 8th day, we arrive to Zadar and set sail on the sea. If you are not a fan of sailing, you will become one after seeing Biograd, Dugi otok, Kornati and Zlarin, and after you have seen the Sunset over the hills, had a dinner on the deck and enjoyed swimming during the night…
It is already our 10th day and we go back to the mainland, towards the Krka National Park. In the Delta of the river Neretva we go cycling, kayaking and, at the end of the day, we will even visit a kite school. Ston and Marko Polo’s Korčula await, then the Mljet National Park, which seems as if it were frozen in some better times. Almost untouched nature will make you wish you could never leave. But you will, because we have left the pearl of the beautiful Dalmatia for the very end: Dubrovnik.
Take a walk along the streets of the Old Town and enjoy every second of it because this is the last day in the beautiful Croatia, full of sights and landscapes you could have only dreamed about until now. We hope you will join us!
